We believe in the power of thriving communities and the strength of a great public education. That's why we're partnering with nonprofit organizations to provide grants to bolster education, early childhood wellness, economic development, and other initiatives across the UP.

The YooperBowl celebrates the legendary Packers vs. Lions football rivalry and seeks to leverage it for charity. United Way of Marquette County has signed-on as our charitable partner and fiscal agent – they will use their expertise to help us analyze and distribute the funds we raise to U.P communities in need in 2026.

In 2025, game two is on Thanksgiving so we are taking a break and gearing up for an even bigger two-game celebration in 2026! And dare we dream… a playoff in January of 2027? 

In 2026, we’re inviting local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, regional companies, and small businesses to become official YooperBowl Host Sites—joining Blackrocks Brewery (our flagship event in Marquette). The exact dates will not be known until June 2026, so we will work you over the summer to be ready as soon as the dates are announced!

As we grow and people learn more about us through hosted watch parties across the UP that celebrate the history and uniqueness of the UP - as a fundraiser and "fun raiser" around the Yooper Bowl game day.
