Yooper Bowl™ is a branded, community-driven event series and entertainment experience created to celebrate the culture, spirit, and traditions of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Through local events, friendly competitions, and digital engagement, Yooper Bowl™ connects communities, organizations, and fans in a uniquely Yooper way.

The United Way of Marquette County is  the Yooper Bowl™ charitable partner and we expect, but are not limited to helping:

• Seniors get meals, transportation to medical appointments, snow removal, etc.
• Youth and families address food insecurity, mental wellness and learning obstacles for our young people,
• Public schools close funding gaps for needed programs,
• Development centers provide economic mobility for low-income families,
• Hospice centers provide grief services, and
• Much, much more…

By signing up NOW for Yooper Bowl™ events and activities, you will help us build momentum to attract high-profile iconic brands from lower Michigan and Wisconsin to invest in this charitable fund for exponential impact! 

What’s In It for You?

As a Yooper Bowl™ party location or host – your participation will draw new customers, build goodwill, and boost visibility of your company and brand.  You will give back in support of U.P. nonprofits, schools, and small businesses. You’ll be part of a movement that celebrates local pride, grit, and positive community involvement. 

A Win-Win Opportunity!

All are welcome – Bars, restaurants, coffee shops, local charities, regional companies, grocery stores, or universities! Some ideas include hosting game-day specials, Yooper Bowl™ menus (cocktails, special coffee blends, or signature burgers), trivia contests, swag sales, watch parties, and Yooper Bowl™ shenanigans – all creative ideas are welcomed and encouraged! 

We seek a minimum pledge of $1000 per game, or $2000 in total to be included as an official watch party location. You can choose to host just one party, but the minimum pledge remains the same. As a Yooper Bowl™ party destination, you will receive a premium party kit (stickers, signage, giveaways, and swag) plus logo placement on media and web promotions. We will also work with each location to customize a memorable, community-driven game day experience—with plenty of Yooper spirit.

We recognize that some groups will want to support this effort, but won’t be the right organization to host a watch party (i.e., regional corporations (mines and such), universities, charities or family foundations). We encourage Yooper Bowl™ pledges that can be offset by corporate generosity, employee matches, appreciation day activities, raffles, or donation drives.

Each level offers logo placement on media and web promotions with executive interviews for media engagements as appropriate. This is a fundraising effort to benefit U.P. communities – We ask regional hosts will pledge a minimum contribution at the following levels, and we will customized benefits accordingly. 

Let’s have fun with this - We are able to target funding into specific cities or causes, offer incentives/prizes for team-specific wins, and other creative approaches.

1.  Yooper Bowl™ Legend (GOAT) Level:  $10,000

2.  Yooper Bowl™ Hall of Fame Level:  $5,000

3.  Super Yooper Bowl™ Level: $2,500

4.  Yooper Bowl™ Fan Club level: $1,000
